Iranian Ambassador to Oman
Mohammad Reza Noori Shahroudi and Omani Minister of Oil and Gas Mohammed bin
Hamad Al Rumhi discussed a major project to export gas from the Islamic
Republic to the Arab country.
In the meeting held in Muscat
on Sunday, Noori Shahroudi and the Omani minister exchanged views on a range of
issues including the latest situation of the project to construct a gas
pipeline from Iran to Oman and ways to expedite the implementation of the
project.
The Iranian diplomat also

projects in Duqm, a free-trade zone in central-eastern Oman.
Iran and Oman enjoy age-old
and close ties and their relations have become even closer after the two sides'
agreements to boost mutual cooperation specially on economic fields.
Back in September, the foreign
